Andrea holds a Master’s and a PhD from the Faculty of Education at the University of São Paulo, where she also graduated in Pedagogy. She has a degree in Project Management from FIA, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Learning Analytics at the Pontific and completed a postdoctoral fellowship University.

She is consultant at the IADB (Inter-American Bank of Development) and has published several books in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, including Technology-Enabled Learning and Design Methodologies, ID 4.0 (Instructional Design 4.0:

 ADDIE, Design Thinking, Learning Experience Design and Data-Driven Learning Design, and Data Science in Education.
